I am based in Amherstburg, Ontario and currently accept in-person training sessions within the Windsor-Essex area. Distance Consultations are also available via Zoom.

My services include personal customized Behaviour Modification Training Sessions in person or as a distance consultation online. I also work with local rescues to help foster parents prepare their foster dogs for adoption. Please contact me for more information.

My Process

I develop a customized approach to training. There is no one size-fits-all solution, I work with you to fulfill your exact needs.

First Step is a Behaviour Modification Consultation

This session takes 1 – 1.5 hours and includes:

  • A review of the in-depth dog questionnaire you submitted.
  • We will discuss your goals and concerns.
  • You will learn some training concepts used to move forward.

  • We will observe your dog, and we will evaluate your dog’s behaviour. In some instances, we will not include your dog in the consultation. It is of utmost importance that we keep everyone safe, and we will conduct a human handling lesson before inviting your dog to a session.

  • We will provide a customized training plan for your household’s and dog’s unique needs. We will forward the training plan before the follow-up session.

Price: $150

Follow-Up Sessions

These sessions are 1 hour and include:

  • A discussion regarding improvements &/or setbacks since the last session.
  • We review the Training Plan and any adjustments necessary.

  • You will be taught replacement behaviours (basic training) and how to improve these behaviours.

  • The Behaviour Modification strategy will be practiced and refined.

  • You will be given detailed instruction and if needed, a video demonstration at the session or before the next session.

Price: $100

Session Package

This package includes 5 sessions and:

  • Discussions regarding improvements &/or setbacks since the last session.

  • Ongoing review of the Training Plan and any adjustments as necessary.

  • You will be taught replacement behaviours (basic training) and how to improve these behaviours.

  • The Behaviour Modification strategy will be practiced and refined.

  • You will be given detailed instruction and if needed, a video demonstration at the session or before the next session.
